No Rest for the Weary

Case and I are attending the Chequamegon Bay Birding Festival for the second time.  It falls on our anniversary weekend and that is how we want to celebrate.  It is 3 days of  half day outings - over 100 from which to choose.  Last year we did all water: canoes, kayaks, giant canoe from the 1700's.  This year is hiking.  We are having such a great time celebrating 36 years of marriage.  Of course, on all of these excursions, the group is looking and listening for local birds.  Today we identified 23 different birds.  I am off to bed as we are getting up at 4 am again tomorrow.
